Yet another celebrity fan of Sinéad: Peter Buck of R.E.M. In a recent interview, Buck revealed that he cried listening to Sinéad sing The Foggy Dew, available on the Chieftains album The Long Black Veil:

PB: I'm still really moved by songs. In the last couple of years, I think I've cried twice seeing people sing songs.

What were the songs?

PB: I saw Sinéad O'Connor sing Foggy Dew with The Chieftains. it was just amazing. I just teared right up.
