Sinead O'Connor Live, August 16th 1997, USA, Los Angeles (CA), "The Greek"

"The Greek" what better place to perform. Surrounded by the hills of Hollywood next to the famous Observatory. White light decorate the exterior. Concert stage is outdoors. Warm summer night. Sinead comes on. Never seen here in person before. She is so very tiny. But definitely toned. Highligh of evening was translation of "This is a Rebel Song" into an American version. Done well. Audience was intent on listening the the words sung, and the quality in which they were sung. Must saya though had some homely looking back-up singers? Three young girls.

Sinead's bob length auburn hair behind her ears, bronze velvet outfit, topped by tennis shoes looked great. Concert was short 90 minutes in all. Probably because her two children were visiting the following day.

Audience a bit disapointed wanted more. All in all an excellent evening.
